The New York Initiative for Children of Incarcerated Parents is launching a "Bring Back the Buses" campaign to restore the DOCCS' "free bus" program, and would like to do this in collaboration with you!

We have developed a survey to be distributed widely to family members and people who were formerly incarcerated to gather feedback about the "free bus" program. We have actually heard that it was not so great and that it was underutilized possibly because of the quality of the transportation and the way it was designed.  We want to advocate smartly, effectively and efficiently so we need to learn more.

Please distribute the survey to your mailing lists as well as individuals and families you work with.   It is short and sweet and will help us advocate more strategically. THANK YOU!
