Thousands of homeless New Yorkers are depending on rental assistance to help them pay for housing. The City recently announced it will consolidate LINC, SEPS, and CityFEPS vouchers into one program called CityFHEPS. This is a step in the right direction, but more must be done to strengthen programs, ensure homeless NYers have access to vouchers, and confront source of income discrimination.

Our community has many questions about the consolidation and important recommendations to share. We've invited Department of Social Services Commissioner Steve Banks to attend the town hall and speak directly to the community, as well as City Council Members.
