Comments regarding the proposed regulations are due February 3, 2006. Here are three ways that you can fight Social Security's implementation of this policy:

1) If you have not yet submitted comments, please feel free to use the attached model comments as you see fit. Include specific examples of actual circumstances which illustrate the flaws in these proposed regulations.

2) Even if you don't have time to submit individualized comments, please transfer the attached template to your agency's letterhead and modify as necessary. Be sure to include a brief description of your organization.

3) Finally if you don't have time to do either of the above, sign on to these comments which we will submit to SSA. Email or call me by Thursday, February 2nd, at 1:00 p.m. to let me know that your agency supports these statements, and I will include your organization's name as one of the endorsers.
