Prisoner Reentry Policy Positions adopted by the Board of Directors of the National District Attorneys Association on July 17th, 2005. The policy position aims to "Strike a balance between public safety and the reentry and reintegration of ex-offenders."

The resolution addresses general reentry issues from the prosecutor's perspective; "victim reentry issues;" "pre-release" (institutional and transitional) reentry issues including major obstacles to reentry; "post-release" transitional and long-term issues; probation and parole violations; methods for addressing reintegration; collateral sanctions; funding.
