The Smart Justice report reflects the work undertaken by the Collins Center, together with the state's business community, to analyze the growth of Florida's corrections system and the policies driving that growth. Based on that analysis, reform recommendations are made to chart a course for a sustainable criminal justice system that costs less, in some cases immediately and in others, after the passage of a short period of time, and achieves
better outcomes.
