Join us for the next Coalition for Women Prisoners' Conditions & Reentry Committee meeting! The Committee focuses on improving conditions inside NYS prisons & eliminating barriers that women face when they return home. Currently, the Committee is creating a booklet to help women coming home from prison navigate the difficult process of securing housing after release & working to secure effective implementation of the recently passed HIV/Hep C Oversight Law which requires the Dept. of Health to monitor HIV/HCV care in NY's prisons/jails. We encourage you to join the committee, share your thoughts & input as we continue to improve conditions inside prison and the re-entry process for people coming home.
