You will learn the nuts and bolts of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) public housing and Section 8, as well as other housing subsidies such as the Work Advantage Program. We will discuss housing emergencies in the context of special populations, including homeless individuals and families, victims of domestic violence, people with disabilities, and people involved with the Administration for Children’s Services.
