The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) establishes, priorities, and objectives for the Nation's drug control programs. Its goals are to reduce illicit drug use, manufacturing and trafficking, drug-related crime & violence, and drug-related health consequences. ONDCP also runs the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) leads the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction through research and legislation.
