What's New
In July, the Uniform Law Commission (ULC) of the NCCUSL approved support for a Uniform Collateral Consequences of Conviction Act, encouraging states to clarify the collateral consequences associated with criminal convictions. The Act suggests that the collateral sanctions and disqualifications contained in State statutes or administrative regulations should be retrievable from a single document.
